SOS 2.0, our new website is here
We’re delighted to share our new website, a statement of hope & a mechanic for helping to save our beloved scene.
Emerging from the tumultuous landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic, a time that threatened to decimate the UK's vibrant live music scene, it hasn’t gotten any easier since. It’s actually gotten worse! We are witnessing the escalating closure of iconic venues, the struggles of countless artists, and the ripple effects felt throughout the industry, then and now, we realise the urgent need for action.
We want our mission to continue to grow into an even more powerful movement united by a shared passion for music. Our story, like so many which work in the industry, is one of resilience, determination and the unwavering belief in the transformative power of live music. Through our campaigns, collaborations, and unwavering support, we hope we can become a beacon of hope for fans and the industry.
We strive to protect grassroots venues, support emerging artists and advocate for fair policies that safeguard the future of the industry. We believe that live music is more than just entertainment; it's a cultural cornerstone that enriches our lives, fosters communities, and inspires creativity.
We’ve got a long road ahead but with our Music Venue Trust alliance, as well as building community with like minded organisations and important stakeholders (the fans, most notably), we hope we can continue to be advocates for the scene we care so deeply about.
The scene has so much to love and we want to become a place where you can stay informed about the latest developments in the UK live music scene. Our blog will feature insightful articles, challenges faced and of course, shouting out the people who make up our industry!
We invite you to join us in shaping a brighter future for UK live music. Whether you're an artist, venue owner, industry professional, or simply a passionate music fan, your support is crucial. Together, we can create a sustainable ecosystem that celebrates the power of music and ensures its continued vitality for generations to come.
Become a Scene Saver or if you want to support or work with us, simply submit your information on our new home page.
