Bristol Grant Winners
This funding will directly support a local venue, artists, promoters, a festival and a community organisation, helping to ensure these amazing organisations can continue to thrive.
CROTCH: Crotch will be using these funds to produce an event at The Trinity Centre in 2025
LOST HORIZON: Their funding will be invested in club/space refurbishments, focusing on soundproofing to enhance event-goer experiences as well as bring more local/national sound systems to the venue, collectives and fans
Nowadaze Festival: The funding will support team licensing, event production, and promotion for the 2025 event, helping enable the festival to continue growing
Rumble in the Jungle: This funding will kickstart an accessible event series supporting a grassroots venue in Bristol, starting this October
X2X Music: An agency for female-identifying DJs, X2X will use the funding for artist development, support, community engagement, workshops and event costs.
The Cause CIC: The Cause will use the funding to support their ongoing efforts to nurture local talent through grassroots music and creative industry events.
We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who applied, there were so many applicants that were reviewed by the teams and at MVT and we wish we could have given and granted more. Thank you also to everyone who attended the Nia event and contributed to this incredible achievement. Your support is essential in ensuring the continued efforts of Save Our Scene and our mission to protect the future of live music.
This donation marks a significant milestone in our commitment to supporting the grassroots music scene and hopefully is the first of many. By investing in these local initiatives, we hope to inspire major organisations and artists to look at doing the same, in order to help create a healthy grassroots ecosystem.
